The man who has been accused of being the Golden State Killer is expected to plead guilty today.
He is said to have carried out a series of rapes and murders that terrorized residents across California in the 1970s and 1980s. He’s expected to plead guilty in a court hearing in Sacramento.
Joseph DeAngelo was a former police officer who was arrested back in 2018 after authorities identified him through DNA.
Joseph is expected to appear before his surviving victims and the relatives of those he is accused of killing in order to accept a plea deal that spares him the death penalty.
