Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton appeared on the Fox Business Network to discuss Chairman Lindsey Graham delaying the vote on authorizing subpoenas in the Russia investigation; the D.C. District Court setting the oral argument date to review Judge Sullivan’s refusal to immediately close Lt. Gen. Flynn’s case; Graham saying the FBI has “denied” the requests to interview the agents who talked to former British spy, Christopher Steele’s, sub-source; and more!
The only excuse Wray could possibly have is that the agents who interviewed Steele are giving Grand Jury Testimony as we speak, and their congressional testimony would hurt the ongoing investigation and prosecution of Obamagate.
I very much doubt that is his excuse. Everything he’s withheld for “national security” reasons from House hearings turned out to have nothing to do with national security and everything to do with embarrassment of the FBI and Obama Administration members.
This looks like the exact same situation. All they need to do is run out the clock, which they can do, with EASE. What a wonderful surprise it would be if Durham actually does anything.
I know enough about “Congressional Oversight” to believe that the Senate will do more to cover up than expose anything significant. Even if they mean well (which I very much doubt), the government can stall, divert, and lie to them to their heart’s content. The only danger they face is that they, themselves, will go after themselves. LOL!
