Protesters and police clashed during a rally against the COVID-19 passport in Amsterdam. Organised under the slogan ‘Together for Netherlands’ the protesters denounced that a proof of vaccination, recent recovery or a negative test are mandatory for entering public venues.
The Dutch government has justified the pass as necessary to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Parisians also protested against the health pass in France, as well as mandatory vaccinations, and COVID-19 vaccinations for children. And in Vienna restrictions protesters were met by a counter-demo.
