Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report talks to Janice Dean, author of “Make Your Own Sunshine” about Andrew Cuomo’s nursing home deaths scandal, what’s it’s like to challenge a powerful Democrat involved in a cover up, as well the importance of hearing uplifting news stories during these difficult times.
Janice gives her first hand experience of losing family members to COVID as a result of Cuomo’s March 25th order that forced nursing homes to take in COVID patients. She describes how she discovered the nursing home scandal when she learned that COVID deaths that occurred in hospitals were not being counted. New York nursing homes were not only forced to accept patients who had coronavirus, but Cuomo’s order prohibited them from being to test people before readmitting them.
She shares how there are theories that Cuomo was not in fact following any science, but the suggestions of hospital industry lobbyists.She also reveals that Andrew Cuomo signed an order giving nursing homes blanket immunity only a few days after the original order.
