Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report talks about Andrew Cuomo and Gavin Newsom beginning to threaten the unvaccinated, Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot defending her racist policy for interviews, and a shocking side-by-side comparison of political media bias comparing the BLM protests to the January 6 insurrection. First, Dave shares clips of Andrew Cuomo and Gavin Newsom making statements that use threatening language about forcing vaccines on people who have not received the COVID 19 vaccine yet. The Delta variant and stalling vaccination rates are causing some government and public health officials to use more coercion to convince people to get the vaccine. While mandating vaccines is not in the government’s powers they can use powerful disincentives. Next, Dave shares a clip of Kara Swisher’s interview with Lori Lightfoot on her podcast Sway. Lightfoot addresses the criticism she received for deciding to only grant interviews to journalists of color. There was enormous backlash to her racial discrimination, but she says she would do it again and it was important that she took a stand. Finally, Dave shares a side-by-side comparison of msm media bias. The news media seemed very concerned that events like the Capitol riot might be a super spreader event yet seemed to go out of their way to claim that the Black Lives Matter protests were not.
