Douglas gives his perspective on the dangerous political polarization of the divided states of America where Trump supporters think the election was stolen and Biden supporters believe Joe Biden won. He worries about the important tradition of a peaceful transfer of power when there are different Republican and Democrat versions of reality. He is especially concerned about the election fraud allegations pushed by Trump, Sidney Powell, and Rudy Giuliani that unless significant proof is shown, may just be baseless conspiracy theories. He is concerned about the damage this could do to Trump voters and the institution of conservatism.
