No cameras? That’s total bull-s**t. Those buildings have camera everywhere.

I worked in a UPS hub that was built in 1985 and the place was full of cameras. One on every bay, a bunch on every conveyor belt, in every aisle, walkway footpath, scattered all throughout the truck yard, in every office, at every desk. Even in the janitors broom cupboard.
Also nobody ever picks up anything seperated from an envelope to the point of not being able to tell what came out of what and still get the contents to the recipient. It is the box or envelope that has the shipping and tracking information on it, not the contents of your parcel.
There is no UPS tracking number written on that flashdrive. If they knew what it was and where it was going then they had that envelope. They have repacking stations all over the hubs for anything that breaks open.
They repack it, tape it up and send it on its way either in or with the original packaging. If that drive made it out of its envelope it is because somebody took it out.
